I have just joined a team on etsy called "Art Blogs by Etsy Artists". I love fabric. All of the vibrant colors and patterns excite me. When I was a child I would go to the 6th floor of Macy's at Herald Square, 34th Street and Broadway in NY, and stare at the fantastic material. I remember liking "wallpaper" striped patterns the most. There were prices like 39 cents per yard, 59 cents per yard for the cheapest ones, which sometimes weren't all that bad. Except that there was one fabric I considered hideous and inexcusable: It was a dull yellow with huge life-size grey telephones all over it. It was there forever because no one wanted it. IL used to laugh about it for its sheer ugliness.
